• Challenge: Identify Organisms from a Stream of DNA Sequences

• Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) DOD
• This Challenge seeks innovative algorithms to analyze samples that contain mixed segments of genetic sequence from next-generation sequencing instruments and report the identities of each organism represented in the sample and characterization of all non-host organisms. • This is a Reduction-to-Practice Challenge that requires written documentation and delivery of source code implementing an algorithm that solves the problem. A real-time online scoring utility and leaderboard will be available for this Challenge beginning 13-Feb.
