Goal: We aim to investigate the spatiotemporal dynamics of basal ganglia-cortical network activity regulating human motor control
Study population and setting:
- Patients with Parkinson disease undergoing deep brain stimulatin implantation surgery
- Intraoperative recordings of spikes, deep brain local field potentials from basal ganglia, and electrocorticography from motor, prefrontal, and parietal cortices while participants perform choice, conflict, and action suppression tasks.
Data generated:
- Intracranial subcortical and cortical recordings along with behavioral, demographic, and clinical data, archived in the Data Archive for the BRAIN Initiative (https://dabi.loni.usc.edu/dsi/1U01NS098961)
