NHLBI’s Center for Translation Research and Implementation Science (CTRIS) RFA-HL-19-014 Stimulating T4 Implementation Research to Optimize Integration of Proven-effective Interventions for Heart, Lung, and Blood Diseases and Sleep Disorders into Practice (STIMULATE) (R01 clinical trials not allowed).
Prospective STIMULATE applicants should carefully review purpose of the FOA and NIH’s guidance on what constitutes a clinical trial and the simplified examples at, https://grants.nih.gov/policy/clinical-trials/definition.htm.
We anticipate that responsive applications would include those conducting secondary data analyses, simulation studies, or prospective studies which are not clinical trials. You are encouraged to participate in the upcoming webinar (April 18, 2018) and you are strongly encouraged to send relevant questions prior to the webinar. We will present simplified examples of proposals which would be responsive to the STIMULATE FOA.
