Steering Group
The Steering Group defines the overall direction and "umbrella" organizational structure for the Physiome Project. Serving as the "Board of Directors" for the Project as a whole, the Steering Group develops guidelines, defines standards, and works to enhance funding opportunities at the local and federal levels.
Management Group
The Management Group defines the Physiome Project's overall organizational structure and serves as the Project's administrative "backbone," coordinating and transmitting information between the Steering Group and physiome projects. The Management Group will establish quality control programs and enforce the guidelines and standards developed by the Steering Group.
Physiome Projects
Physiome projects are composed of a coalescence of individuals committed to working together on a specific project. Each projects' goals should aim to achieve defined objectives, which fit into the overall scheme for a computationally integrated system model and subsidiary models. Physiome projects' leadership structure should be very flexible and coordinate turnover via election, or by volunteering for service. Members should review tenure of management positions annually. Each project should host its own Forum for discussion.
