Model of the Year 2024
Following the success of the Model of the year 2023 Competition, we have now opened the applications for Model of the year’ competition 2024 . The application deadline is 29th February 2024

The competition aims to recognise exciting mathematical models of biological systems and the modellers who build them. This is an excellent opportunity for early career modellers including PhD students, Postdocs, staff scientists, Industrial researchers and new PIs* to showcase their work. Winners will receive a cash prize, invited to write a blog in BioModels, and their work will be highlighted in a journal article published by the panel.
To enter the competition, one should submit their model code in any format (e.g. SBML, CellML, COPASI, CC3D, VCell, Antimony, Morpheus, Matlab, Python, C++, R, Julia scripts etc) and a brief summary highlighting its scientific outcome and impact. Models published within the last two years are eligible.
