We present StochSS: Stochastic Simulation as-a-Service, an integrated development environment for simulation of biological systems with models ranging from ODE to spatial stochastic, where a user can build a simple model on a laptop, and scale it up to increasing levels of complexity, deploying computing resources from the cloud with the push of a button when they are needed.  StochSS is available for download at www.stochss.org.
