New RFA - Funding Opportunity for the Nutrition for Precision Health’s AIMINGS Pilot Project Program

This call for proposals seeks research projects that develop and utilize artificial intelligence (AI) and other computer-aided approaches to facilitate precision nutrition. Precision nutrition is an emerging field that aims to provide targeted dietary and nutritional recommendations for individuals with different characteristics and circumstances in order to prevent and treat diseases, and improve overall health and wellbeing.

Notice of Special Interest (NOSI): Validation of Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence Tools for Improved Assessment in Epidemiological, Clinical, and Intervention Research

The purpose of this Notice of Special Interest (NOSI) is to encourage grant applications to support the evaluation of the utility and validity of digital health and artificial intelligence (AI) tools and technologies in epidemiological, clinical, and intervention research. The intent is to support the addition of new measurement modalities to evaluate existing and recently developed but not yet validated digital health and AI tools such as sensor technologies, smartphone applications, software as a medical device (SaMD), and AI algorithms.

Systems Biology for Infectious Diseases (U19 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

The purpose of the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to support research that employs systems biology approaches to human pathogens.  The approach will generate and integrate large datasets into models that guide in vitro, in vivo and clinical studies, with the goals of predicting disease severity, predicting responses to vaccines and therapeutics, and identifying candidate targets for interventions.
